Simba is a super goofy dog who loves to play with his squeaky toys. He loves his adult people, and he always wants attention from his human friends.

Simba has a lot of puppy attitudes still. You get the puppy energy, but he’s crate and potty trained! He loves to do his training and will work even for his plain kibble! Treats are like an extra fun reward for Mr. Simba.

He is a rockstar for the vet, good in the tub and lets us cut his toenails! He is going to make someone a great pup! Simba is a high energy boy so NO small children— he’s not sure how big he is when he’s zooming around, and he easily gets over stimulated. He’s like a bull in a China shop when he gets over stimulated, but we still love his smooshy butt anyways.

Simba does experience separation anxiety and easily gets over stimulated. He does require an experienced handler. He prefers to eat his bones and play with toys without other dogs around so other dogs are fine as long as there are not resources involved.

This girl truly has my heart. If perfection had a face, it would be Dallys. 

Andrea and her lovely husband have been fostering Dally. We took her back a few months ago after realizing that she was in a home that wasn’t the right fit for her. Dogs are my soul, and I know there is an incredible human out there for this girl. We try not to get attached but it happens. We all love this dog. 

From her foster mom:
Miss Dally is a ton of fun! She can entertain herself wrestling with her blanket or playing with toys. She gets along unbelievably well with our resident dog. They love chasing each other, playing, wrestling, swimming and going on walks. She's got a TON of energy but will easily crash on the couch, her favorite place in the house. She freely shares kisses and hugs and loves to snuggle. And She's a champ at supervising when we're in the kitchen. She's not a fan of the crate and gets anxious in the car but we try to take her somewhere fun each time she goes. She has loved everyone that she has met

Miss Wren!

Look at this beautiful playful girly. 

Wren is sweet as can be, she’s building her confidence, she loves pets and playing, she loves stuffies and running! 

She needs someone who will continue her basic obedience (she is super smart) and bring her on adventures so she can continue to explore the world and build confidence. She will need help learning leash manners but she is trying!

She was once part of a bonded pair but recently we have decided to see how they would do alone on more adventures and wow are they are both thriving! 

Also, her floppy ears kill me, I love them.

Long but worth the read. 

We LOVE Chevy. We take as many behavioral cases as our bank account allows. 

I’ll start from the beginning.

Chevy was due to be euthanized for an altercation that she had with another dog (there is no real knowledge who started it or why) and her parent got bit breaking it up. 

With the trust issues that Chevy has, it is clear that she has been failed many times. We stepped forward for her because we like a challenge, and she was different to me than what her story was. She was just broken. 

When she first came to us, she was in a 48-inch crate, and she made it crystal clear that she didn’t want us touching her or reaching into her crate. She didn’t trust us, and we respected her space. I knew the goal was earning her trust. While we were getting to know her, we learned she also resource guarded high value items. 

We had an assessment done by Humarock Shepherds. Scott asked me how much time we could give her. Knowing at the time we were moving into 275 Oak St. (Thanks to Chris Shaughnessy), I told him she had as much time as she needed. He told me to work with her and wait.

I want to fast forward to today. We have worked with her every day. I can sit in her kennel run and she just melts into me. She is the most loving dog who truly just wants affection and a human to call her own. Yes, she still needs work, but she deserves a home as much as the next dog. 

Chevys ideal future home is an older couple, no other animals, and the understanding she can’t have high value items (Bully sticks, bones,) she plays with toys, and we do take them from her and give them back, so she knows whatever life she had before that made her feel like she had to defend her stuff, is over. 

She’s learning strangers don’t mean her harm and some of them are actually pretty cool. 

It’s huge progress. 

If you have time and patience to give her, she’s your girl. We truly love her and really want to see her in a loving home. She deserves it.

JT is a work in progress. He is a sweet and timid pup who's had a rough start in life. Despite being shy and scared, JT tries his best to be brave. He walks well on a leash with minimal pulling and is eager to please. Jt's past is marked by scars, both physical and emotional. He has scars on his legs and seems hesitant around people, suggesting he's had limited socialization. We are working hard with him to get him comfortable with people.

When introduced to a toy, JT was confused, indicating he's never experienced playtime before. Despite all this, JT's willingness to try and his sweet demeanor make him a lovable companion. He needs patience, understanding, and guidance to help him overcome his fears and thrive.
