 Mister Clyde

  Age: 2 Yrs.

Breed: California Dog Mix

Current Weight: 47 lbs

 Clyde is a 2 yr. Old California Dog Mix, weighing in at 47 lbs. 

He’s awesome and is currently being fostered in Pembroke. Clyde is a nervous boy but all he wants is love. He is sweet as can be. He gently takes treats and even knows some basic commands.

Clyde is afraid of bigger dogs and takes slow introductions to other dogs in general. He currently plays with a 7-month-old puppy, but steers clear of the other 2 adult dogs in the home who are much bigger than he is. He plays tug-o-war with buster and they both run around the yard. It took about 3 weeks for Clyde to feel ok with him. We believe he may have had another dog not be kind which has resulted in this behavior. 

We are asking for older kids with Clyde as he can still play rough, and we wouldn't want littles to get knocked over when he gets excited. He LOVES to play fetch and sometimes might take the toy for a game of tag. He does currently reside with a 9 and 14 yr. old. and he is gentle with both.

Clyde does not mind hanging out in his crate and is potty trained. 

He is truly a great dog for someone who is willing to take the time with him. He will melt your heart.

Meet Oakley

Breed: Lab/Husky Mix

Estimated age: 1 Yr.
Weight: 50 lbs 

Oakley is a 1-year-old, Lab/Husky mix, approximately 50 lbs., and is being fostered in East Bridgewater with two resident dogs. In the short time with us, we’ve learned the following about Oakley:

Snuggles with humans and dogs

Oakley is a sweet love of a pup that is working hard on learning all the things that will make him successful in a family home. He will need someone who is patient and committed to helping him be the best dog he can be through consistent and positive training. The right fit of an owner will be rewarded with the sweetest puppy kisses and snuggles from their new loyal companion.

If you find yourself asking why Nick still does not have a foster or an adopter. It is because he needs to be the only dog in the home.

There’s not an aggressive bone in this dog’s body towards humans. He just doesn’t jam with other animals.

Meet Fargo

Breed: Lab Mixed

Estimated age: 12/25/23
Weight: 44 lbs

Coming inbound from TN! FOSTER NEEDED!!!!!

This little guy was found alone and has been fostered for 4 months. He was having digestive issues but seems to be fine on Science Diet Gastrointestinal Biome.

From foster mom:
Fargo is very playful, loves wrestling with other dogs and playing. He loves playing tug of war and loves to lay around and chew on chew toys. Loves cuddling with you in your lap. Loves food but have to be careful with what he eats. He only eats Science Diet. Still likes to nibble your fingers and loves pushing my Yorkie around.
He will sit, shake and lay down. Pouts when he thinks you are mad at him. Hates being alone so he needs another dog that will tolerate him being rough and playing.  Fargo is potty trained.

Meet Gill

Breed: Pit Mixed

Estimated age:  5 months

Weight: 38 lbs 

Gill went from being code red on a euthanasia list to a foster home. End goal now is a forever home! 

From his foster family:
Gill, lovingly nicknamed Trip, is starting to come out of his shell.  He loves to smell flowers, chase bees & loves our pond (he is definitely a water dog). He’s potty trained, doing well on leash - although still nervous with loud sounds.  He’s timid at first with people but after some patience he’s your friend and he hasn’t met a dog he didn’t love! He’ll make a great family dog especially if there is another pup to help with his confidence.

Miss Evie!!

Breed: Shep//Lab Mix

Estimated age:  1 Yr.

Weight: 46 lbs 

She’s been waiting awhile to come up due to medical issues that have now been resolved. She was diagnosed with Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) which is the inability to produce sufficient pancreatic enzymes needed to digest fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. It’s under control with proper diet.

Evie is so sweet. She loves to run and play with the other dogs. Evie can be a little shy at first but once she warms up, she will paint your face with kisses. She has a great temperament. Evie loves to play with other dogs but can sometimes play rough. She loves the puppies at the center, but her play is too rough for how small they are. She will be a great pup for a family.
